Lancaster, TX — Bob Moore Construction is proud to announce that Wintergreen Industrial, Phase I has been recognized with the prestigious Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals (BRED) Award in the category of Industrial Development. The annual BRED awards honor remarkable real estate deals in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, celebrating projects based on their significant community impact, innovative approaches, and exceptional execution.
Located in Lancaster’s Wintergreen Exchange development, the 799,529-square-foot facility represents a significant expansion of Best Buy’s logistics operations. The $104 million development required extensive infrastructure enhancements in an underdeveloped area, including over a mile-long extension of a gas main and significant road improvements. Despite these substantial challenges and a tight 18-month timeline, the team successfully delivered the project precisely on schedule.
Wintergreen Industrial is notable not only for its size but also for its advanced design and amenities. The facility features 780,000 square feet of efficient warehouse space equipped with service, repair, and recycling facilities, alongside multiple trucker lounges. Employee-centric amenities include recreation areas with pinball machines and video games, a wellness room, and state-of-the-art environmental controls with 44 air-handling units, radiant heaters, and integrated HVLS fans.
The Dallas Business Journal officially recognized all projects at the BRED ceremony held at The Ritz-Carlton on April 17. Winners were selected through an independent editorial review focusing on each project’s merits, achievements, and contributions to their communities.
This award underscores Crow Holdings Development’s continued commitment to driving impactful growth and innovation in North Texas.
