About the Role
We’re hiring an Accounting Clerk to support our accounting team with day-to-day administrative and transactional work. This is a great entry point into construction accounting—you’ll keep our records organized, support invoice and payment processing, and help our team operate smoothly. What You’ll Do
- Support the accounting team with daily administrative and transactional tasks
- Enter and organize invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documentation
- Assist with check runs, lien waiver preparation, and subcontractor communication
- Maintain organized records for invoices, contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance documents
- Respond to basic vendor and subcontractor inquiries about payments and documentation
- Assist with HR-adjacent administrative tasks as needed
What You’ll Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related administrative role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable/receivable
- Proficiency with Excel; experience with Sage, HH2, GCPay, or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work alongside vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- HR experience is a plus, but not required
