Bob Moore Construction is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our growing team and play a key role in winning and delivering ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional ready to take ownership of the estimating process from bid to award.
Requirements
- Organize and maintain all pre-construction documentation, including estimates, bids, contracts, and project plans.
- Schedule and prepare materials for pre-construction meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
- Assist with the preparation and input of cost estimates into estimating software.
- Help compile bid packages, ensuring all necessary documentation from the estimating team are included.
- Assist in reaching out to potential subcontractors and maintaining communication with existing subcontractors.
- Track and log subcontractor bids, ensuring comprehensive bid coverage and documentation of good faith efforts.
- Support coordination with vendors for services and products needed during the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications
- Experience in ground-up construction; logistics/light industrial, food & beverage, manufacturing, retail, office, and other commercial sectors.
- Degree in the field of Finance, Construction Science or other applicable field
- Proficiency in BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, MS Project, Autodesk, and other programs
